Cancer impacts all of us. It affects individuals who may be personally battling the disease or have friends or loved ones who are fighting it as well.
CanCare is a one-on-one cancer support program serving our congregation. CanCare’s mission is: To improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families. CanCare’s trained volunteers are matched to individuals dealing with the same cancer, same or similar treatment, age, gender, and family situation. As survivors and experienced family caregivers, they understand what it takes to fight this disease and, while doing so, keep HOPE alive. These special volunteers provide free emotional support to their clients for as long as they are needed.
