Doctrinal Statement

“1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19; 1 Tim 3:16”

We believe in one God who is Spirit in His essence, eternal in His existence, and Triune in His personage, being revealed to us in Scripture as distinctly Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. We believe that He is Sovereign and Absolute in His authority and worthy of all reverence and obedience.

God The Father

Gen 1:1, 2:7; Ex. 3:14; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 7:11; Gal. 4:6; Eph. 4:6″

We believe in the Father who is God Himself, who reigns supreme and sustains His universe. His providential hand has shaped the flow of human history in loving-kindness and mercy according to the purposes of His divine grace.

God The Son

“Luke 3:21-22; John 3:36; John 3:31-32; John 14:6; Philippians 2:5-11; Col. 2:9; 1Tim. 2:5”

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He existed before his incarnation as the eternal Logos and in His incarnation, He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was fully God and fully man and He perfectly revealed the will of God to mankind. He lived a life of perfect obedience to the will of the Father and thus fulfilled all the law and He totally identified with mankind yet without sin. He suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead for our total salvation. He ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God the Father where He is the One Mediator between God and man. We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

God The Holy Spirit

“Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; Psalm 51:11; 139:7; Isaiah 61:1-3; Matthew 1:18, 3:16, 4:1; Mark 1:10,12; Luke 1:35, 4:1; John 4:24; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8, 2:1-4; Romans 8:9-11; 1Corinthians 2:10-14; 3:16; Galatians 4:6; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1Thessalonians 5:19; Hebrews 9:8; 2 Peter 1:21; Revelation 1:10”

We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God indwelling, empowering, and regenerating the believer. This Holy Spirit is called the Comforter. The Spirit of Truth (John 14:17, 14:26) inspired and authored the Holy Scriptures through holy men who were used as vessels to write what the Holy Spirit divinely inspired. Through illumination, He enables men to understand the truth. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He is the agent by whom men are called to reconcile to God and to regeneration. He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts which empower believers to serve God in the body of Christ. He seals the believer until the day of redemption and by His presence in the believer, gives the assurance to bring them into the fullness of the stature of Christ.
